GCCF StaffGCCF co-directors, Mary Jane Rotheram-Borus, Ph.D. and Diane Flannery, Ph.D., travel the world, together and separately, learning about the universal and unique travails and triumphs faced by parents and children in diverse cultures.Mary Jane Rotheram-Borus, Ph.D. Director
Mary Jane Rotheram-Borus, Ph.D., also director of the Center for Community Health (CCH) and Principal Investigator for the Center for HIV Identification, Prevention, and Treatment Services (CHIPTS), has spent the past twenty years developing, evaluating, and implementing behavior change programs to improve the lives of
children and families. Her lifelong dedication to children’s well-being has inspired her to use her scientific expertise in many innovative ways: developing the
first evidence-based social skills training programs for 3rd-5th graders; working with adolescents at risk for substance abuse, HIV, homelessness, depression,
suicide, and long-term unemployment, and directing and implementing landmark behavior change programs to support families in risky situations.
Diane Flannery, Ph.D. Director
When Diane Flannery, PhD. came to GCCF in January 2004, she brought twenty years of leadership to the non-profit and social enterprise worlds.
